Warranty Conditions

Every watch is covered by a 24-month manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase.

Each watch undergoes thorough quality control before shipping. If, despite these inspections, a material or manufacturing defect occurs, I will repair the watch free of charge or, at my discretion, replace it with an equivalent model (or its successor, if applicable). The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the watch to my workshop. If the warranty claim is accepted, I will cover the cost of the return shipment after the repair or replacement has been completed.

What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by drops, impacts, or other external forces.
  • Damage resulting from improper use, misuse, or inadequate care.
  • Normal wear and tear, including scratches on the case, crystal, bezel, or strap.
  • Wear parts, including leather, rubber, or textile straps, metal bracelets and clasps, spring bars, and gaskets, where wear results from normal use.
  • Damage caused by water ingress if the crown was not fully secured or if the watch was used beyond its water-resistance rating.
  • Damage caused by chemicals (such as soap, cleaning agents, chlorine, or solvents) or exposure to extreme temperatures (such as saunas or hot water).
  • Damage caused by strong magnetic fields, fire, force majeure, or other external influences.
  • Repairs, modifications, or alterations carried out by unauthorized persons.
  • Timekeeping deviations of the NH36 automatic movement within the manufacturer’s specified tolerance of –20 to +40 seconds per day.
  • Cosmetic changes caused by normal aging, including reduced lume performance or discoloration of coatings.

Warranty Requirements

Please keep the following documents in a safe place:

  • the original completed Gossert Card,
  • your proof of purchase (invoice or receipt).

Both documents must be presented when making a warranty claim.

Water Resistance

Every watch is pressure-tested to 3 bar (30 m) before shipping.

This level of water resistance protects against splashes, rain, and brief contact with water. It is not suitable for showering, bathing, swimming, diving, or sauna use.

To help maintain the water resistance of your watch, I recommend:

  • not wearing the watch while showering, bathing, swimming, or using a sauna,
  • always ensuring that the crown is fully secured,
  • having the seals inspected periodically as part of routine servicing.
