I grant a manufacturer’s warranty of 24 months from the date of purchase on every watch.
I guarantee that every watch undergoes thorough quality inspections before shipment. However, material or manufacturing defects cannot be completely ruled out.
Should your watch exhibit such a material or manufacturing defect, I will repair it free of charge or replace it with an equivalent model (if applicable, a successor model if the original is no longer available). I will also cover the shipping costs to and from my workshop for you.
What is excluded from the warranty?
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by external influences (fall, impact, improper handling)
- Natural wear and tear and signs of use (e.g., scratches on the case, crystal, or strap)
- Damage caused by water ingress if the crown was not screwed down or due to contact with chemicals (soap, chlorine, etc.) or extreme temperatures (e.g., showering, sauna)
- Wear and tear on parts such as leather or rubber straps, or metal bracelet links
- Interventions or repair attempts by third parties
- Timing inaccuracies of the mechanical movement (NH36) within the standard tolerance of –20 to +40 seconds per day
- Damage caused by strong magnetic fields or force majeure
Requirements for a warranty claim
Please keep the following documents safe:
- The original, completed Gossert-card
- The proof of purchase (invoice)
Both documents must be presented in case of a warranty claim.
Note on water resistance
Each watch is tested for water resistance to 5 bar (50 m) before shipment.
This provides protection against splashes, rain, and brief submersion.
To ensure the long-term integrity of the seals, I recommend:
- not wearing the watch while showering, bathing, or swimming
- always ensuring the crown is fully screwed down
